Privacy policy
07/01/2026
Buena Ola Capital, LLC (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through buenaola.io and how we use it.
What we collect. If you contact us, we collect what you choose to send: your name, your email address and your message. Our website host also collects standard technical information, such as your browser type, pages visited and approximate location, and may use cookies to do so.
Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the website. It sets cookies and records pages viewed, time on page, the site that referred you, device and browser type, and approximate location at the city or country level. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses. We do not use it for advertising. You can turn analytics off at any time with the button at the end of this policy. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics does not run.
How we use it. We use your contact details only to reply to you. We use technical information to operate and improve the website.
What we do not do. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties, except service providers who help us run the website, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it. We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to respond, or as the law requires.
Analytics retention. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted.
Your choices. You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can set your browser to refuse cookies; some parts of the site may then not work.
EU and UK visitors. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR may apply. Buena Ola Capital, LLC is the controller of your personal data. We rely on these legal bases:
- Legitimate interests, to understand how the website is used, to reply to messages you send us, and to keep the website secure. You may object to analytics at any time with the button at the end of this policy.
- Legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
You have the right to access your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To use these rights, email oi.aloaneub@ofni. We will respond within one month. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
International transfers. We are based in the United States. Our service providers, including Google, may process data in the United States and other countries. Where EU or UK personal data leaves those regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, or Standard Contractual Clauses.
